About Us

The Table Sourdough Company began in the simplest of ways—around our own family table. We were craving bread made with fewer ingredients and more intention so we turned back to the basics, flour, water, and a little bit of time. That's just how Beth, our starter, was born.

What began as loaves for our family soon overflowed into our community. We shared bread with friends and neighbors, and before long people were asking if they could buy it. Their encouragement planted a seed we couldn’t ignore.

After a little thought, and a whole lot of prayer, The Table came to life. For us, bread is more than food—it’s connection, comfort, and a reminder of what really matters.

The name The Table carries deep meaning for us for two reasons. First, the table has always been more than just a simple piece of furniture; it's the place where life happens, Meals are shared, laughter rings out, prayers are whispered, and stories are told. A place where people pause and come together. In a world that often moves too fast bread has a way of slowing us down and drawing us together. This name also means more than just where bread is shared. Throughout scripture the table represents a place of invitation, abundance, and hope. Psalm 23:5 reminds us "You prepare a table before me..." Just imagine that for a minute, the creator of the Universe invites you to sit in his presence. He loves us so much he craves time and connection with us. That picture of grace and hospitality inspires us daily.

Our hope is that every loaf we bake carries with it the warmth of hospitality and the joy of gathering together around the table.

Beth

Sourdough Starter/ Employee of the Month

Beth is by far our hardest working employee, she's our starter! We named her after Bethlehem, which means 'House of Bread'. It's the humble town where Jesus, the Bread of Life, was born. To us it's a reminder that even the smallest beginnings can rise into something beautiful.
